1. Who we are
Sort a Lot is made by Catchy Yazılım Limited Şirketi ("Catchy", "we"), Üniversiteler Mahallesi, İhsan Doğramacı Blv. ARGE ve Eğitim Merkezi No: 13, 06800 Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye. You can reach us at info@catchy.games, which is also the contact for privacy questions.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the game Sort a Lot on every platform we publish it on: the iOS app, the Android app and the PC version on Steam. It applies only to this game. Our other games and our website have their own policies.
3. Data we collect
None. Sort a Lot does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell personal data. In particular, the game does not:
- ask for your name, email address, age or any other personal details;
- have accounts, sign-in, chat, friends lists or any way to talk to other players;
- show ads or contain any advertising software;
- contain analytics, attribution or crash-reporting software;
- read or send advertising identifiers or other device identifiers;
- request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
The game does not send anything to Catchy. We have no game servers, so there is nowhere for your data to go.
4. Saves and settings stay on your device
Your progress, settings and, on PC, a local crash log are written to files on your own device. They are never sent to us. If you delete the game, these files are deleted with it, and we cannot recover them.
Your device may include these files in its own backups, for example iCloud or device backups on iOS and Google's backup service on Android, if you have turned those on. Those backups are run by Apple or Google under their privacy policies, not by us.
5. The full game purchase
The mobile versions are free to try and offer one optional purchase that unlocks the full game. The purchase is made through the App Store or Google Play, and Apple or Google process the payment. We never receive your name, email address or payment details.
To know whether you own the full game, the app asks the store on your device. On Android, this uses Google's Play Billing Library, which talks to Google Play and may send Google technical information needed to process and protect purchases. That data goes to Apple or Google, not to us, and is covered by their policies:
Purchases on iOS and Android follow the parental controls of the device and store account, such as Ask to Buy on Apple devices and purchase approvals in Google Play.
6. The PC version on Steam
On PC, the game uses Valve's Steamworks to unlock Steam achievements. Steam, your Steam account and any Steam features you use are provided by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy. The PC version's menus also have links to our website and our Discord community. They open in your web browser only when you choose them, and those sites have their own policies.
7. Third parties at a glance
| Service | Platform | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| App Store (Apple) | iOS | Downloading the game, the full game purchase |
| Google Play and Play Billing Library (Google) | Android | Downloading the game, the full game purchase |
| Steam and Steamworks (Valve) | PC | Buying and running the game, achievements |
There are no other third-party services in the game.
8. Children
Sort a Lot is a calm game that people of all ages can play. Because the game collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either, including children under 13. There is nothing a child can share through the game, and there are no ads. This is how we meet the requirements of the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR and similar laws. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, write to info@catchy.games.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the CCPA in California and the KVKK in Türkiye give you rights over your personal data. These include the right to access, correct or delete it. Since the game sends us no personal data, we hold none about you from the game. If you write to us, we use your email only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
10. Changes to this policy
If the game ever starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date at the top before that change is released.
